Haim Levkowitz, Ph.D., Manager

Dr. Haim Levkowitz is Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and Managing Partner at HyperGROWTH Ventures LLC of Andover, Massachusetts. At UMass Lowell, Haim's teaching and research have focused on advanced mobile and cloud computing, Internet and Web technologies, humnan-information interaction, computer graphics, and visualization and information presentation.

Haim is an internationally renowned authority on color graphics and visualization, user interfaces, and information presentation. He is the author of Color Theory and Modeling for Computer Graphics, Visualization, and Multimedia Applications (Springer, 1997), co-editor of Perceptual Issues in Visualization (Springer, 1995), and author or co-author of dozens of scientific publications.

During Haim's close to four decades of experience in the computer and electronics industry he was member of the team that installed the first Israeli Air Force operations computer communications network in the early seventies;  member of the team that installed the first Automatic Teller Machines network in Israel in the late seventies; and owner/operator of three electronics businesses. Haim has close to 30 years of academic research and teaching experience.
